S355J2G3 Plates are high-strength structural steels traditionally specified under the older version of the EN 10025 standard. Although modern engineering projects have largely transitioned to the S355J2+N designation, S355J2G3 remains a critical reference in legacy blueprints and international procurement. The "S355" indicates the industry-standard minimum yield strength of 355 MPa, while the "G3" suffix specifically mandates that the material must be supplied in a Normalized or equivalent delivery condition. This ensures the steel possesses a refined, fine-grained microstructure that offers superior reliability compared to standard as-rolled plates.

The technical excellence of EN 10025 S355J2G3 is defined by its exceptional toughness and resilience in demanding environments.
