ASTM A182 F446 Stainless Steel Flanges are high-chromium, ferritic alloy piping components manufactured to withstand exceptionally severe high-temperature environments. Produced in strict accordance with the ASTM A182 and ASME SA182 standards, these forged flanges contain a high chromium content of up to 27%. This specific composition creates an incredibly durable ferritic structure that provides outstanding resistance to high-temperature oxidation, sulfidation, and carburization up to 1100 °C (2012 °F) without experiencing scaling or degradation.
Our manufacturing line produces a complete range of ASTM A182 F446 slip-on, weld neck, blind, threaded, and socket weld flanges. Every component is precision machined on CNC lathes to ensure optimal gasket seating across major pressure classes from Class 150 to Class 2500. Because grade 446 is a non-heat-treatable alloy that offers superior resistance to molten copper, lead, and tin corrosion, these high-oxidation forged flanges are the premier choice for soot blowers, kiln linings, furnace parts, flue gas ducts, and metallurgical smelting equipment.
