ASTM B564 Inconel 601 Flanges are specialized nickel-chromium components distinguished by the addition of aluminum, which provides outstanding resistance to high-temperature oxidation. Developed under the UNS N06601 specification, these flanges are designed to perform in the most thermally demanding environments, maintaining high mechanical strength and metallurgical stability at temperatures up to 2200°F (1204°C). The protective oxide scale formed by the aluminum addition makes Inconel 601 particularly effective in resisting spalling, even under severe thermal cycling conditions.
